Our Principles

These are operating ideas for Mythic Innovations LLC. They are not a slogan set, and they are not a feature list.

Build for the people doing the work

Technology should solve real problems for the person standing at the door, running the tournament, managing the venue, organizing the event, or building the community.

That person is the test. If a tool only makes sense for a much larger organization, it is pointed at the wrong problem.

Power without unnecessary complexity

Advanced technology doesn't need to feel complicated. Powerful systems should remain approachable for small organizations.

Approachable does not mean shallow. It means a small organization can use the power without hiring a technology department to run it.

Let people stay in control

Software should support judgment, not replace it. Tools help people make better decisions—they do not make those decisions for them.

Advice can be declined. The person at the door, the table, or the venue still decides. That is a rule for how the software should behave. It is not a separate product we sell.

Build what we wish existed

Mythic Innovations does not add features simply because competitors have them. We look for problems that still aren't being solved well and build around them.

A competitor’s checklist is not a specification. Copying it is how a product gets noisy without getting more useful.
